- Step 1: Access E-Way Bill Portal - Visit the official e-way bill portal using a web browser.
- Step 2: Click on “Registration” Tab - On the e-way bill portal homepage, click on the “Registration” tab located on the top menu bar.
- Step 3: Select “e-Way Bill Registration” - Click on the “e-Way Bill Registration” option from the drop-down menu.
- Step 4: Fill Registration Form - Fill in the e-way bill registration form with the required details, including: GSTIN, Legal name of the business entity, Trade name, Address details, and Contact information.
- Step 5: Verification Code - Enter the captcha code displayed on the screen for verification purposes.
- Step 6: Click on “Send OTP” - Click on the “Send OTP” button to receive a one-time password (OTP) on the registered mobile number and email address.
- Step 7: Enter OTP - Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and email address in the respective fields.
- Step 8: Click on “Verify OTP” - Click on the “Verify OTP” button to authenticate the OTP and proceed with the registration process.
- Step 9: Acknowledgment - After successful verification, an acknowledgment message is displayed on the screen confirming the submission of the registration details.
- Step 10: Verification by Tax Authorities - The registration details submitted by the taxpayer are verified by the tax authorities, and if everything is in order, the e-way bill registration is approved.
- Step 11: Confirmation Email/SMS - Upon approval, the taxpayer receives a confirmation email or SMS containing the login credentials.
- Step 12: Log in to E-Way Bill Portal - Log in using the provided username and password to start generating e-way bills.
